Sales Development Rep

Overview

As a Sales Development Rep your primary focus will be to generate new leads for our sales team through phone, email, and social outreach. You will be responsible for making outbound calls, emails, and tasked with following up on marketing-generated inbound leads. The ideal candidate is competitive, determined, passionate and has a desire to hustle in their pursuit of excellence. Successful Sales Development Reps will be considered for advancement to higher-level sales positions within the company. As a Sales Development Rep you will be provided with industry leading tools to perform your job, including but limited to: Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo and unlimited access to MonsterConnect.

What You’ll Do

  • Source new sales opportunities using lead generation techniques
  • Make outbound calls and call on marketing-generated inbound leads
  • Contact leads to set up appointments for sales representatives
  • Create, organize, and track leads using Salesforce.com
  • Conduct account-based research to personalize outreach
  • Communicate with senior executives and key decision-makers
  • Meet monthly and quarterly qualified leads and revenue objectives
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of MonsterConnect’s sales processes
  • Exhibit best practices on prospecting, qualification and attended meeting generation
  • Provide weekly accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management

Qualifications

  • 1-3 year minimum of sales related work experience
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment and professionalism
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities
  • Prior consistent quota achievement/top performance in sales/business development
  • Competitive and focused on achieving goals
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Must exhibit a high-level of curiosity, be a good listener, a helper at heart, and excited to solve client challenges with MonsterConnect
  • Must pass background check and drug screening, as required for client credentialing
